What's in the zip:

  • weekly-timesheet.xlsx (preview)

Mon–Sun with In, Out, Lunch, Regular Hours, OT Hours, and Notes columns. Auto-calculates totals.

  • biweekly-timesheet.xlsx (preview)

14-day template with Week 1 and Week 2 subtotals. Per-week overtime—the way FLSA requires it.

  • FLSA Overtime Guide

Built-in reference sheet explaining the 40-hour rule, 1.5x rate, and why you can't average over two weeks.

Why does this matter?

Some employers mistakenly average hours across a 14-day pay period (e.g., 50 hours one week + 30 hours the next = "80 regular hours"). That's not how FLSA works. Overtime must be calculated per 7-day workweek. These templates are structured correctly from the start.
